Dog Posters
There’s nothing quite as majestic to a dog owner as a full-size dog poster of their favorite breed. If you’ve spent your life breeding or just taking care of one specific type of dog, your natural tendency will be to have pictures and maybe even a few figurines of that breed scattered about the house and in the office. It’s okay to admit it. Dog owners know and understand these behaviors. We all practice them. That’s why the folks here at Animal Blueprint Company do what we do. We’re all dog lovers and owners who want to offer you a different type of dog poster – a blueprint of your favorite breed.
Dog posters come in all shapes and sizes. Some of the more popular over the years have been posters of movie dogs. You may have had one of Lassie, Benji, or Scooby Doo taped to your wall when you were a child. It’s possible that your own children might have the same animals on their wall, especially Scooby, but they’re more likely to want Underdog, Beethoven, or that timeless iconoclastic hero – Snoopy. These are all available at most novelty or pet stores.
Movie dogs aren’t the only ones that end up on dog posters. With the technology available today you can snap a photo of your dog with a digital camera and send it off for processing to a photo lab, requesting poster size when you do. The neatly rolled poster that arrives in the mail in a protected cylinder will look exactly like the dog posters you buy in stores, only it will be your pooch. Your kids will definitely love that and so will you. Put it up in the living room, play room, or any bedroom.
Posters don’t have to be mounted the traditional way – with tape on the back and no frame. Take any dog poster and mount it inside a frame to make it a picture. If you took the step in the last paragraph you can request a size that fits a specific frame or you can cut the current poster to fit it. You can even take another digital picture, this time of your dog with the family around him, and have that turned into a dog poster. Use Photoshop to do a little editing and your friends and neighbors will think you’re all movie stars. That makes for a fun conversation opener.
